About Kylissa
Some stories begin with a single moment. Mine began with a silence.
Not the peaceful kind — the kind that forms when your voice is pushed to the edges. When truth becomes inconvenient. When injustice is easier to ignore than confront. When speaking feels like shouting into a storm.
For a long time, I tried to fit my words into the spaces allowed to me. I walked the roads laid out by others, even when those roads narrowed, twisted, or simply stopped. But expression has a way of finding its own cracks in the world. And eventually, so did I.
Before I ever called myself an author, I was someone searching for a way to be heard. Every blocked path, every closed door, every moment where reality refused to bend toward fairness became a quiet catalyst. I learned to listen — to the intuitive nudges, the inner warnings, the flashes of insight that arrive before logic catches up. I learned to trust the messages that don’t shout, but whisper. And I learned that when every external route is obstructed, the only way forward is the one you carve yourself.
That is how the Shadow Knaves saga was born — not from a desire to write a novel, but from the need to give shape to truths that had nowhere else to go. It became a place where injustice could be confronted, where silenced voices could rise, and where the unseen forces shaping our choices could finally be explored. It became a story of awakening — of seeing the shadows for what they are, and discovering the power that comes from stepping beyond them.
And that journey didn’t end on the page.
It led me here, to this space — a place to share the path I’ve walked, the lessons I’ve gathered, and the creative work that continues to unfold. A place built not from certainty, but from courage. The courage to follow intuition. To trust the unseen. To keep moving even when the way forward isn’t obvious.
This website is part of that unfolding. A home for the stories that shaped me, the insights that guided me, and the voice that refused to stay silent.
It’s an invitation — to explore, to question, to awaken, and to see where your own choices might lead.
Because every journey begins somewhere. And sometimes, the most powerful ones begin the moment we finally decide to speak.
